If you’re one for sweet-ish treats or Asian-inspired fare, you may have heard of Mochi Mochi by Torii. The popular eatery started off as a pop-up nearby famed spot, Tjing Tjing. Serving up delightful mochi, innovative flavours and with a space that’s filled with bright, beautiful designs - it’s been all over social media. Recently, the spot moved to a bigger space near the revamped Heritage Square - which is home to Always Welcome store and Mexican hotspot Hacienda.

The vibey space is much bigger than previous premises and is perfect for a quick lunchtime bite in the city centre or a fun brunch day with friends. The cafe is known for the handcrafted mochi, milk bread and savoury & sweet treats. So no matter what you like, there’s something to enjoy.

You can sit down or grab a sneaky takeaway of your favourite mochi - which is subject to change in terms of flavour offerings.

Taking inspiration from Japan, there are fun and super cute motifs all over the cafe - perfect for your next Instagram post. If there are specific flavours you’d like to get, be sure to get in touch with the team to pre-order or ensure that they still have it in stock.

Want to check it out this weekend? The shop is open Tuesday to Saturday (so no Sunday visits!) from 10am to 6pm, and you can now find the cafe at 71 Buitengracht Street!
