One of the trendiest and most popular spots in Johannesburg, Rockets Lolita’s, has been shortlisted for 3 categories in the prestigious Restaurant & Bar Design Awards.
Renowned for its vibrant atmosphere, gourmet offerings and stunning décor, Rockets Lolita’s has been shortlisted for the Middle East & Africa Bar, Murals & Graffiti and Biophilic Design categories.
The Restaurant & Bar Design Awards is focused on awarding creative and innovative food and beverage spaces around the world. The awards take every imaginable space into consideration, from ships to airports, museums to burger vans and even from revered Michelin-starred establishments to dynamic pop-ups.
Top international designers, hospitality operators and judges from the UK and further afield sit on the panel of judges every year. Recent judges include Zaha Hadid, Kengo Kuma, Foster & Partners, Stephen Alden, Gordon Ramsay, Tony Chambers, Alberto Alessi, Thomas Heatherwick.
This year’s panel of judges includes Gary Robinson, Director and Executive Chef for Condé Nast International Restaurants, Andre Chiang, Chef and Restaurant Owner and Rebecca Anne Proctor, Editor in Chief of Harper’s Bazaar Art and Harper’s Bazaar Interiors (AE).
The Awards ceremony will be held at London’s King’s Cross on the 4th October 2018, where they will announce the winners for the UK based, UK & International and the International award categories.
