Imagine seating on a cold winter night having a sweet potato and garlic soup, overlooking the sea, that's a dream right? Well that was our reality when we recently visited Blowfish Restaurant at Dolphin Beach Hotel. It's definitely the perfect spot for your next meal.
Location
The one thing we absolutely loved Blowfish is its location. Its located just by the beachfront at Dolphin Beach Hotel and is easy to access from Cape Town CBD, about 15 to 20 minutes from the city. The restaurant is also located away from the hotel so unlike some hitels where you have to go through the hotel to access it, which can get busy, there is non of that with Blowfish.
Insta worthy
It sounds funny that we are saying it here but in this day and age, the instaworthiness of a place actually matters, because arent we always posting pictures on the gram? Blowfish has the perfect views for the gram, from the entrance area near the parking with some beautiful trees and pavings as well as lawn, to inside the Restuarant. There is also a patio where yiu can take perfect pictures showing the backdrop of Table Mountain and the ocean.
The food
If you want to taste some of the best mouth-watering seafood, sushi and some of the Cape’s finest wines, Blowfish is the place for you. Everything is fresh and just right.
We enjoyed the wide selection of seafood as well as sushi. Our favourite sushi was the prawn inari, you definitely need to try it out.
And if sea food isnt your think Blowfish also has a wide selection of red meats, possibly some of the best around.
Everything on their menu is competitively priced.
