Seal has stayed out of the spotlight recently, and his recent home purchase certainly suggests that he enjoys a private life. The Grammy Award winner just picked up a new mansion for $3.55 million, and the abode is quite secluded, perched high in the mountains above Malibu, California.

The location isn't the only detail which makes the home ultra-private. The two-story modern dwelling is set behind gates down a long driveway and cannot be seen from the street, and it is surrounded by three landscaped acres. The property provides the "Kiss From a Rose" singer with both mountain and ocean views, as well as private hiking paths leading to a scenic overlook, according to reports.

The inside isn’t too shabby either. Spread out over 3,6000 square feet, the home boasts four en suite bedrooms (some with balconies) and five contemporary bathrooms. The main space features a dining room, living room, and kitchen area that seamlessly flow into one another, and all have soaring ceilings with multiple skylights to let in plenty of natural light. Large sliding glass doors in the common living areas open up to a large patio with dining and lounging areas.

Out back there’s also a large lawn, swimming pool, children’s playground, tennis courts, and a screened-in garden. And, of course, the entire home is hooked up to a high-tech sound system so Seal can blast his tunes throughout.
