For the next instalment in this ongoing series, the H&G team dug deep in their saved archives to share designs, people and interior pieces that inspire them.

With so much design inspiration and limited characters, here are our favourite posts of the week. We hope it inspires you too and don’t forget to follow our Instagram account. Happy New Year, everyone!

Symmetric aesthetic

If there's one thing I can't have enough of it's symmetry. Wherever applied – be it at home or at my desk – I get a sense of serenity and accomplishment. This bathroom, then, brings me immense satisfaction. The matching arches and basins, the tiling paired with the brass accents – it's stunning. - Walter Hayward, Managing & Syndication Editor

Wood on wood on wood

The Caleb Woodard Furniture IG page is at the top of my saved posts lately. I am amazed by the brilliance of carving solid walnut wood into such detailed, beautiful sliding doors. Breathtaking! - Lesley Mathys, Group Managing & Syndication Editor

Pretty in pink

This couch has a hold on me that I cannot explain. I love its bubble-like appearance, similar to a cloud and the beautiful juxtaposition of this contemporary piece with vintage and older decor. Let's also not forget that it is covered in a dusty pink - need I say more. - Yashna Balwanth, Senior Features Writer

Rays of light

I love the gorgeous lighting in this shot, but mostly this is what I’d want my bedroom to look like if I had the design choice. Minimal, very undone and filled with natural light. - Alyx Carolus, Digital Editor
