As the weather starts to warm up we at House & Garden SA can’t help but feel optimistic about the remainder of 2024.
The House & Garden team have taken that optimism and compiled an issue layered in beauty and inspiration, with an ever-present and proudly South African twist. With Heritage Day taking place this month, we felt compelled to share the sheer talent and beauty found right here on our doorsteps, starting with the newest project by celebrated South African interior designer Julia Day, plus the collab between iconic local performer and artist Manthe Ribane with Pantheone.
House & Garden SA Features Writer Kimberley Schoeman together with our Editor-in-Chief Catherine Mo, embarked on a journey across the Western Cape in the new Land Rover Discovery, where they discovered more than anyone anticipated. (Read more in The Road to Discovery.)
We also took the hard work out of deciphering the interior trends you need to invest in at this change of the seasons. From stripes to pastel shades (who knew?), Spring/Summer 2024 is set to be a style scorcher – and we’re here for it.
