Two of the five-star luxury offerings have been named among the top 30 of Africa’s best hotels in 2019.
The exotic, The Plettenberg - situated on a rocky headland in Plettenberg Bay, along the famous Garden Route – was recognised as #17 in the Traveller Readers’ Choice Awards Africa category.
The five-star hotel showcases the most breath-taking vistas in Southern Africa, with views of the ocean, mountains and endless stretches of golden sand.
It boosts at least 35 beautifully decorated rooms and two family-style villas.
Meanwhile, its sister hotel, THE Cellars-Hohenort - located in Constantia, also known as ‘Cape Town’s Vineyard’ - came in at #23 in the top 30 hotels in Africa category.
The hotel’s 51 guest rooms and suites boast breath-taking views of Table Mountain and the property’s award-winning gardens.
