If you’ve been looking for a new craft burger spot to try out, Stud The Burger Shop has opened up a new branch in the Atlantic Seaboard. The first location is in the heart of Stellenbosch and now locals and visitors can enjoy the single origin beef burgers that have garnered a loyal following.
One of the key factors with Stud is that both the space and menu are simple and pared down to the essentials. The menu itself is less than 10 burger options, with the meat being single origin Boran beef. This echoes the tagline of the restaurant: no frills, no fuss, no bull, just beef.
If you have plant-based friends who want an option, there is a 100% vegan burger available and an additional vegetarian option.
According to the official site, Stud. recreates the classic burger, bringing back a sense of nostalgia. The brand explains that unashamedly stands behind it's intentionally limited take-away burger offering, as this is simply because it is what the farm can sustainably produce.
The new location is at 315 Main Road and is currently open 7 days a week from 11am to 10:00pm.
