The new 100% cotton Vadoek is a vibrant checkered kitchen cloth that is more than a functional kitchen item due to their contemporary designs, colours, textures, absorbency and ultimate utility.

Mungo designer, Lenore Schroeder turned to Master Weaver, Stuart Holding’s archive of historic pattern books and found the mock leno weave. The loosely interlaced warp and weft threads increase the surface area of the cloth, making it thick and absorbent - perfect for soaking up spills and handling hot plates.

The Between Us restaurant duo, twin sisters Jesse and Jamie Friedberg tested the vadoek out in their busy kitchen. Take a look at the images below to see how the vadoek adds colour, texture and a functional décor element to the kitchen.

The Vadoek range comes in 9 different colours, each with its own unique personality and character. The cloths are available for purchase online and in-store.
