Inspired by 70s sensibilities, colour takes center stage in our latest issue. Achieving the optimal balance of playful and sophisticated is a collaboration between old and new, modular and sculptural, bold and understated - all of these elements working in harmony. “I would describe design as having one foot in the past while the other boldly steps into the future”, explains Ben. “We wanted each element(of the home) to feel equal parts retro yet modern”.

Statement pieces abound and there are many ways to venture into colour while maintaining the effortlessly cool vibe that Ben has created in the Vancouver home on the cover. Here are 7 statement items inspired by the cover.
