Le Monsieur Dior recently opened at the newly renovated renovated location 30 Montaigne. Christian Ernest Dior the founder of his namesake luxury maison was a self- proclaimed gourmand who “cultivated his taste for the culinary arts with finesse, offering his palate – and his guests – only the best”.

Renowned French chef Jean Imbert, accompanied by his frequent collaborator Anthony Clémot, drew inspiration from the heritage and ethos of the House of Dior to develop each menu. “We worked extensively in the archives, around the sketches he created, through his universe, and through the cuisine,” says Jean Imbert.

The restaurant and bakery La Pâtisserie Dior designed by virtuoso architect and Dior partner Peter Marino, overlook a rose garden on the same floor. Guests and residents have access to an opulent multi-sensory Dior experience at this location. Next to the restaurant, a gallery dedicated to Dior’s collections complements the dining experience which includes original dishes inspired by Dior’s history as well as the founding designer’s favourite recipes over the years, notably revealed in the book La Cuisine cousu-main.

The art featured includes a portrait by René Bouché and work by Guy Limone as well as other elements which make for a very French Dior fine dining experience. One does not simply go to the restaurant to dine, but to be enveloped in all that Dior has come to offer.

The newly renovated location on 30 Montaigne, has been the iconic cradle of the maison since 1946; with a gallery, haute couture atelier, three gardens and more, seamlessly orchestrated by Peter Marino. The location is a Dior Dreamland where every detail is re-imagined as Dior would have wanted. In his own words, "the detail is as important as the essential is.“
