From outdoor spaces to indoor areas, furniture is a key piece in pulling a room together. If you’ve been wanting to explore more of the local design scene and get some inspiration for your space - check out the inaugural Cape Town Furniture Week happening in the City Bowl from 15 to 18 February 2023.

So what is this event all about?

According to the official site, Cape Town Furniture Week is free to attend and is a platform for the celebration and advancement of the city’s contemporary furniture design industry. It exists to give local furniture design brands a space to tell their story, and to guide the public to explore and discover the remarkable output of products designed and made right here at the Southern tip of Africa.

You can browse new designs, get to know more about what brands have to offer and learn about the process about making bespoke and expertly designed furniture in South Africa.

The Cape Town Furniture Week is centred around a curated, publicly-accessible programme of showrooms, exhibitions, product launches and window displays around Cape Town’s City Bowl.
