Most importantly, local and international retailers are gearing up for one of the bumper sales seasons yet: Black Friday and Cyber Monday. The sales started off as a largely American concept and regularly made headlines with viral videos of massive crowds scrambling to get the best deals.
The main attraction of Black Friday is the bumper discounts, with items at never before seen prices. The timing is perfect because these specials happen just before the start of the festive season and are one way for people to get their Christmas shopping out of the way.
