Beautiful views were the spring board for a beach escape that finds a blissful medium between natural beauty and bold lines. Tones of grey from floor to ceiling give the bedrooms a cool restful feel, further enhanced by the soft furnishings. Designers Emi Cavalieri and Daniela Priebatsch selected premium furniture brands such as De Padova and B+B Italia for their distinctive simplicity and sophistication.

Designer John Jacob layers subtle tones with fine finishes in a Joburg home. A rose-print fabric in the blue bedroom serves at the linking thread between antique Redoute roses framed en masse in églomisé mirror, a painting of an Indian Tree of Life and an Oriental floral vase. The canopied bed is true John Jacob and upholstered in Studio H, Tabby Linen. Along with neutral linens, it’s a tranquil respite.
