The second installment of Design Joburg featuring Rooms on View is taking place a the Sandton Convention Centre from 25 to 27 May 2018.
The unique exhibit of the finest in local décor and design trade attracted thousands at its inaugural event in 2017. This year, visitors can look forward to being amongst high-end consumers, architects , designers , developers and multinational companies that want to source directly.
A very popular feature from last year’s event, CoLab, returns again with a fresh line-up of innovative designers collaborating with leading brands, local artisans, and suppliers.
The Architect’s Gallery is a new feature of the show and is set to be the main attraction. It will be a showcase of work by South Africa’s architectural community put together by creative directors Andrea Kleinoog and Megan Hess. Kleinoog and Hess, will be joined décor doyen, Sumari Krige to add their expertise to the Rooms on View experience. Varied 3-dimensional models will be presented in a gallery type setting allowing visitors to fully absorb the work of some of SA’s leading architectural lights.
