Chef Stefan Bekker’s Table d’hôte menu has the option of seven or ten flavoursome courses for dinner, which changes with the seasons. These exceptional dishes with a worldly influence (Bekker’s ten year experience and background includes spending years crafting his culinary skills in Qatar and England) are beautifully presented and very much Instagram worthy. Out of the current selection, some personal favourites include the grilled seabass with tiger’s milk, fennel, nori tuile, chilli and citrus, as well as a wonderful vegetarian option in the mushroom consommé, miso eggplant, open nem and coconut foam. These imaginative sample dishes make use of regional and seasonal ingredients.
