Cape Town is about to become the epicentre of future-focused design as Decorex Cape Town returns to the CTICC from 5 to 8 June with a bold theme: The Future of Living. This year's edition promises more than just a design exhibition - it’s a full-sensory exploration of how we’ll live, work, cook, relax, and entertain in the years to come.

Helmed by Executive Creative Directors Alan Hayward and Garreth van Niekerk, the show features curated installations that blend innovation with aesthetic inspiration. A few not-to-miss highlights include:

Capitec handmadeAFRICA + Design MRKT

Showcasing over 40 local design brands, this immersive pop-up brings a curated collection of furniture, décor, and collectables to life, each piece reflecting African heritage through a contemporary lens.

Lexus Design Pod 2.0

Luxury meets innovation in a space where the artistry of automotive design informs future-forward interiors. Expect elegance, minimalism, and surprises around every curve.

@home Cooking Studio

Gone are the days of basic kitchen demos. This live culinary theatre - outfitted with premium @home homeware and Samsung appliances - features top chefs whipping up gourmet fare using Mr D-delivered ingredients, all choreographed by the energetic team behind Food Jams.

Egypt’s Reform Studio returns with a message in every design: plastic waste can be beautiful. Their sophisticated pieces made from recycled bags are both statement-making and sustainable.

Design Dialogue: Future TalksIn partnership with VISI magazine, this CPD-accredited speaker series brings together leading thinkers to explore the future of hospitality, design psychology, landscape architecture, and more under the rallying cry: Design Makes the Future.
